The Four Core Objectives of the Trust:
Supporting education especially in the emerging countries where the Jersey breed has been so beneficial
in developing
agriculture for the benefit of local populations.
Collating and disseminating information from research establishments around the world for the benefit of all.
Encouraging research in dairying and in particular the Jersey breed, to further enhance its role in the world
as a key
provider of nutrition to the hungry.
Fostering goodwill among the international dairy community by exchanging information, encouraging dialogue
and sponsoring
youth scholarships
In summary, we aim to improve the quality of life in the world just as the Jersey breed does for millions of people.
The Lord Jersey Research Trust is supported by the World Jersey Cattle Bureau which is the
global
organisation of the Jersey breed. Thirty countries around the world are members of the WJCB and all play a part
in
its development internationally.
To implement the aims of The Lord Jersey Research Trust we need your help to raise finance.
