WORLD DAIRY EXPO JUNIOR
SHOWS FOR
CALIFORNIAN EXHIBITOR!!
Martin Cozzitorto of Gustine,
California and his senior
three year old Jersey cow Llolyn Jude Griffen-ET had a
super-big week in Madison, Wisconsin at the World
Dairy Expo in late September and early October! After
capturing the Grand Championship of the WDE Junior
Jersey show "Griffen" went on to be named
Intermediate Champion and then Reserve Grand
Champion of the WDE Open Jersey show!
To top the week off she was
later named Supreme
Champion of All Breeds for the WDE Junior Shows!
This talented young cow was
bred by the Gurney Family
of Llolyn Jerseys, Princeton, Ontario. She is a member
of the prolific "Gold" family they developed in a career of
over fifty years of breeding registered Jerseys in
Ontario's dairy-rich Oxford County. The cow is also a
daughter of Semex Alliance sire Curtsey Duncan Jude-
ET.
The other three top placing
animals in the WDE Junior
Jersey show also carried a heavy amount of Canadian
influence in their pedigrees.

Indiana is by Hollylane R Response-ET bred by
Hollylane Jerseys, Corbyville, Ontario. Her dam in turn
is by Semex Alliance foundation sire Meadow Lawn J
Imperial-ET who was bred by Barry Little of Markham,
Ontario.
The Junior Show's Junior
Champion Tri-Koebel Saturn
Natalie, bred and owned by the Koebel family of
Michigan, is sired by Semex sire Van Holme Imperial
Saturn with her dam by Canadian-bred sire Piedmont
MCT Fabian-ET.
Reserve Junior Champion honours
in the Junior show
went to Four M Acres Furor Page-ET by Canadian-bred
Alta Genetics sire Piedmont Nadine Furor and with her
Ex-93% dam sired by Semex sire Valleystream Jude
Treaty-ET and the next dam being a Hollylane R Regal
daughter bred by the Beggs family of Cranbrook Farm in
Eastern Ontario.
