WJCB Youth Travel Scholarship
The World Jersey Cattle Bureau Youth Travel Scholarship was introduced in 1982 (under the name of
World Jersey Cattle Bureau International Youth Exchange Programme) to enable young people who
are interested in Jersey cattle and dairying to travel to other countries to gain experience with the Jersey breed.
It is available to young people between eighteen and twenty-six years of age.
March 2004
The WJCB Youth Travel Scholarship has benefited over the years from considerable funds donated by the Sir James
Knott Trust. Their regular and consistent donations have been vital to the continuance of the programme, and many
youngsters who have participated in exchanges are truly thankful for the life-changing opportunities that such
generous donors have offered them.

for funds from the Sir James Knott Trust.
