other London Airports.(www.ba.com, www.flybe.com)
- Hopper shuttle bus available from LHR to Park Inn Hotel, Heathrow
- Tour registration at the Park Inn
- Afternoon trip available for early arrivals to visit the magnificent
Windsor Castle or Hampton Court Palace
- Welcome dinner at the hotel and overnight at the Park Inn Hotel, LHR.

Sunday 11th May
An easy day in the 'Home Counties' to recover from long flights, although well known breakfast speaker Professor Sean Rickard will set the mind thinking |

- A short drive to visit the established Raylands Jersey herd of
John & Stephen Whitby near Slough
- Around London to visit the prize winning Bluegrass herd of
Barry and Jenny Daw, where delegates will have lunch
- Dinner and overnight at the Park Inn Hotel.

Monday 12th May
Delegates have the rare privilege of visiting The Royal Farm in Windsor Park, home to the Jersey herd of HM The Queen* |

- Delegates will visit the renowned Jersey herd of HM The
Queen, the Victoria dairy and Frogmore Gardens
- A short walk through Windsor Great Park to the Pavilion for lunch
- A visit to the Windsor Farm Shop is a must where a wide range
of traditional British fare is marketed promoting the 'Best of British'
- Journey north through the centre of England for dinner and
overnight at the Holiday Inn, Harrogate.

Tuesday 13th May
Today delegates travel through the stunningly beautiful Yorkshire Dales |

- Visit to the award winning Hillside Jersey herd of Adrian & Gill Harrison
- On from the farm to the picturesque village of Hawes and the
Wensleydale Creamery where there will be a tour, lunch and an
opportunity to make your own cheese!
- It is market day in Hawes, so there's a chance to soak up the
atmosphere of rural life is this magical part of England
- Visit to the Saxown Jersey herd of Richard & Carole Saxby at
Conniston Cold
- Onward to the historic city of Chester for dinner and overnight
at the Queen Hotel.

Alternative Tour
Leaving Harrogate for the City of York for a visit to the Minster
followed by a coach tour of 'James Herriot Country' in the Yorkshire
Dales, finishing at Hawes creamery for a traditional afternoon cream
tea. The tours will meet at the Queen Hotel for dinner.

Wednesday 14th May
Meander through the border counties of England and Wales and see the English countryside at its best |

- Starting with a visit to Blodwell Jerseys of Roger & Wendy Taylor and their
son Mark at Blodwell Hall where there will be lunch overlooking the
spectacular Welsh Hills
- A drive through beautiful Shropshire countryside taking in the
ancient Long Mynd
- Afternoon visit to historic Plowden Hall in Plowden for a talk at
the Hall and an optional coach to visit the Jersey herd on the farm
- A traditional high tea will be taken at Plowden Hall
- Travel to Telford for overnight at the Holiday Inn and Park Inn Hotels.

Alternative Tour
A more leisurely start to include a tour of the Roman City of Chester,
following which the groups meet at Blodwell Hall for early lunch.

Thursday 15th May
Absorb the rich industrial past of the Midlands, the powerhouse of the
British Empire |

- East Shropshire was the most important iron producing area of
the UK in the 18th century and was the birthplace of the
Industrial Revolution - the start of the modern world
- See the Coalbrookedale Iron Bridge, the first structure of its
kind in the world, dating from 1777
- A visit to the first blast smelting furnace of Abraham Derby and a
museums tour is a must for anyone interested in development of
mechanisation
- Join the Severn Valley Railway steam train at Bridgenorth for a
ride to Arley, with a packed lunch on the train
- Afternoon farm visit to the Arley Farming Company and the
Jersey Herd of Mark Gethin, Andrew & Angus Snodgrass
- A drive down to the West Country for dinner and overnight at
the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, Taunton.

Alternative Tour
Following a stop in Worcester to view the Porcelain Museum and
Pottery the group will tour through the scenic Cotswolds hills.
See limestone cottages and enchanting towns such as Evesham,
Moreton in Marsh, Bibury and Stow on the Wold where there will be
a lunch stop at your leisure. The afternoon tour continues through
Cirencester and Stroud and onto Taunton.

Friday 16th May
Sample the flavours of the West Country with a day at the Devon County Show |

- This day will include a 'National Conference Jersey Show' arranged by
the Jersey Cattle Society of the UK
- Lunch at leisure will give delegates the opportunity to wander around
the Show and sample the 'best of the west'
- An afternoon departure from the Show takes delegates to
Stonehenge, for a visit to the famous World Heritage Site of the
neolithic standing stones
- Onward travel to Salisbury for dinner at Salisbury Cathedral which boasts the tallest spire in Europe and an original copy of the
Magna Carta
- After dinner a short drive to Southampton for overnight at Jury's
Inn, Southampton.

Saturday 17th May
A day in one of the great capital cities of the world - London |

|
- Early departure from Southampton for a bag drop and check in at the
London Bloomsbury Holiday Inn Hotel
- Following the bag drop delegates have an optional guided coach tour of
London
- A free afternoon and evening in London provides the opportunity for
delegates to enjoy the city in their own way. A sample of suggestions will
be available and optional visits and evening entertainment may be
booked in advance (subject to availability) during the tour
- Dinner at leisure in London or Hotel.

Sunday 18th May
Travel day with onward travel to Jersey, Channel Islands. Delegates should ensure that the London Gatwick (LGW) to Jersey flight on this day is booked as part of their international flights. |
