Awards of World Jersey
World Jersey recognises the exceptional work of individuals and organisations, on behalf of the breed, through its Distinguished Achievement, Meritorious Achievement & Certificate of Achievement Awards as described below.
The Officers of World Jersey select recipients based on nominations submitted by National Member countries or the Council.
DISTINGUISHED ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This award is the highest honour that the World Jersey Council can bestow on an individual, or an organisation, and recognises those that have made an outstanding contribution to the breeding, development or promotion of the Jersey breed, or its products, at an international level.
Recipients will have truly set themselves apart by their actions and successes either in immediate influence or over a period of many years. The award is made at a meeting of World Jersey held in conjunction with an International Conference and there is no restriction on the number of recipients, although it is an elite award.

MERITORIOUS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Recipients must be Life Members of World Jersey who will have achieved success, for example in the promotion of the organisation, support through the raising of funds or sponsorship for World Jersey, attendance and leadership at World Jersey Council Meetings and associated programmes or service as a member of the World Jersey Council or other position. The award is made at an Annual Meeting of the Council.
CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

This award recognises individuals who have demonstrated a positive influence on the Jersey breed in their own country through their consistent and long-term efforts.
